Steve McQueen
As the undisputed king of cool in 1960s Hollywood, Steve McQueen gained a reputation for playing anti-heroes and was a major box office draw. His performance in 'The Sand Pebbles' earned him an Academy Award nomination, and he starred in the acclaimed films The Great Escape, Bullitt, The Getaway, and Papillon. McQueen's popularity was not enough to make his career stand out. He decided to return to the stage and star in the critically-acclaimed play, 'An Enemy of the People. Although the play did not see a theatrical release it is still shown frequently on PBS.
Jet Li
Jet Li is known for his Chinese success and has since made his Hollywood comeback with the role Han Sing in Romeo Must Die. Li has been a star in many international action films. Apart from his role as Romeo Must Die's star, Li also produced Kiss of the Dragon 2001 and Unleashed 2005. Zhang Yimou also starred in Zhang Yimou’s Yingxiong(2002): Hero. This was a spectacle of martial arts about assassins seeking to kill Shihuangdi the first Chinese emperor. He was also the title villain in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008).
Liam Neeson
Liam Neeson, a man who has worked in Hollywood for more than five decades, is one of Hollywood's most trusted action heroes. Although his action-adventure films of recent years have had less action, they still made a good profit. Taken, which was a surprise hit in 2008 and a sequel two years later was also released. Already, the third installment of Taken has been announced. However, despite being an action-hero, Neeson still has his dramatic side. He's had some success with high-brow films such as Atom Egoyan’s Chloe (2008). He is relishing the role of a senior citizen who can still take down an armed robber.

The world's most famous bodybuilder and politician is back in action movies! He appeared recently in "The Last Stand," which is a western movie set on the border between Mexico & the United States. Schwarzenegger remains large-scale in his movies. He even pokes fun at himself in a recent flick. His comeback was a long-awaited one, and his fans are eager to see the next chapter.
