John Forsythe, TV star and TV host, moved to a picturesque ranch on 30 acres north of Santa Barbara after his wife's death. Julie Forsythe, his wife, fell asleep as she was reading a novel. He tried to wake her up but she couldn't get up. She was taken to the hospital and declared brain dead. Forsythe was forced by her death to turn off her life support.


Kristy McNichol

Kristy McNichol was a queer actress who rose to stardom between the 1970s & 1980s. She acted in a number of television series, including Family and Empty Nest. In addition to acting, she released a solo album. It reached number 70 of the Billboard Charts. Even though she was considered a child superstar, she kept her sexuality hidden to preserve her career. She recovered and went on to work in several films, enjoying moderate success.

Joan Collins

Joan Collins was known for her television roles as well as her film roles. She was first known as a supporting role in Elizabeth Taylor movies in 1950s and then became a well-known name on prime-time soaps like Dynasty. Collins, who was the ex-wife and oil tycoon Blake Carrington's businessman husband, fought against her husband. John Forsythe played the role. The role of Dynasty, a fiery and passionate actress in 1980's soap opera, made Collins well-known.
